Light-Manager

The Light-Manager is designed to be used with InterTechno radio frequency actuators. The InterTechno line includes a large number of different actuators for all kind of purposes. There are onwall and inwall versions, adaptors for power outlets, with switch or dim function, for halogen systems, electric blinds and many more. The most popular are available in our online shop.

The Light Manager can be placed anywhere in the room, below the TV, in the HiFi rack or on the sideboard for example. It is just important that there is interversibility between the remote control and the manager. After plugging it in the Light-Manager is at your disposal directly and you can start controlling lightning and other loads with your remote control.

Following remote controls are supported currently:

How it works

The Light-Manager permanently analyzes the signals coming from your remote control. As soon as a signal has been received which is intended to be a light control signal the manager gets in contact with the selected actuator and transmits the switching command, either to turn on or off the lamp or to dim it. As the transmission is done by radio frequency it is even possible to contact actuators which are placed outside in the garden or in different floors. With the help of the integrated microprocessor the manager can accomplish even complex switching tasks. This includes turning on or off all or groups of lamps.

The allocation of the remote control buttons to certain lights is done in different ways dependent on the remote control used. Logitech Harmony users load the setting "Light Manager" from the Logitech online library. In case of the Philips Pronto the allocation is done by a little program which is part of the package and which can also be found in the download area. Bang & Olufsen remote controls have a light layer by default, there is no additional configuration  of the remote control necessary. In this case the allocation is done by a short setup procedure for the Light-Manager. Pro2 Vision One users find ready-to-use config files in the download area, which are transferred to the remote control by the docking station.
